Automatic Transmission Valve Body Oil Filter βš™οΈ

Protect your gearbox with a high‑efficiency ATF filter designed for the valve body. It keeps hydraulic passages clean, preserves smooth shifting, and extends service life. This is essential for vehicles that tow, drive off‑road, or face hot city traffic .

Why you need it ️

ATF carries tiny particles from clutch wear, metal fines, and seal debris. Without a reliable filter, those contaminants reach solenoids and valves, upsetting line pressure and creating shift problems. Clean fluid means consistent engagement and cooler operating temps.

How it works

A fine mesh/pleated element and magnetic capture zone strain the fluid before it feeds the valve body. The pump pushes ATF through the filter; cleaned fluid then regulates valves and activates clutches. Correct flow keeps pressures stable during every upshift and downshift.

What happens if it’s bad ❗

Clogged or cracked media lowers pressure: delayed engagement, flare, slip, harsh shifts, or limp mode. Debris can stick valves, overheat ATF, glaze clutches, wear the pump, and lead to costly rebuilds.

Tech notes

Replace during fluid service or after overheating. Use OE‑spec ATF, new O‑rings, and even bolt torque. Prime with fresh fluid, then road‑test and check for leaks.
