When your vehicle needs strong, smooth reverse engagement, this internal transmission disc set is the part that makes it happen. It is fitted inside the automatic gearbox reverse clutch pack and is essential for clean take-off when selecting R ?οΈ.
Why this part is needed
Reverse gear creates high load at low speed. The clutch pack must grip firmly without slipping, so the friction and steel discs need correct thickness, flatness, and heat resistance. This set restores factory-style bite and holding power.
How it works
Hydraulic pressure applies the clutch piston, squeezing the disc stack together. Friction discs lock against steel plates, transferring torque to the reverse gear train. When pressure releases, the pack separates and reverse disengages smoothly.
