OEM Engine Oil Filter for Hyundai and Kia ️

This spin-on engine oil filter is engineered to protect modern Hyundai/Kia engines from abrasive particles, soot, and metal shavings. It keeps lubrication clean, stabilizes oil pressure, and supports long engine life under city and highway driving.

Why your engine needs it ️

Combustion and wear create microscopic debris. Without a quality filter, these particles circulate, scuffing bearings, cam lobes, turbo shafts, and VVT components. A correct spec filter preserves film strength and reduces friction and heat.

How it works

Oil enters through side ports, passes through multi-layer media (cellulose/synthetic blend) that traps contaminants down to fine microns, then exits to the galleries. A silicone anti-drainback valve keeps oil in the housing for fast cold starts, while a calibrated bypass valve maintains flow if media is saturated to prevent starvation.

What happens if it’s bad ⚠️

Dirty oil, low pressure at idle, start-up rattle, VVT errors, turbo wear, and shortened oil life. Severe neglect can score bearings and trigger warning lights or engine failure.

Tech tips

Change with every 5,000–7,500 miles (8,000–12,000 km) or per service schedule. Warm engine, prefill when possible, oil the gasket, hand-tighten 3/4 turn after contact. Always use fresh crush washer on the drain plug and the correct viscosity oil.
