Engine Oil Filter Cap Assembly for Hyundai & Kia

This direct-fit oil filter cover keeps your engine’s lifeblood clean and under steady pressure. It locks the cartridge in place, seals the housing with a fresh O-ring, and channels oil the right way. Built to OEM geometry for a tight, leak-free fit, it’s the smart swap when your old cap is cracked, warped, or the threads are tired.

Why your engine needs it

A secure cap maintains oil pressure, prevents leaks, and ensures every drop passes through the filter media. That means quieter starts, cleaner lubrication, and longer engine life.

How it works

The cap screws into the housing, centers the cartridge on its guide, and compresses the O-ring to seal. Internal flow ports direct oil through the filter, then back to the galleries. Heat-resistant polymer and a precision seat keep the seal stable even in high temps.

What happens if it’s broken

Cracks, stripped threads, or a flattened seal cause seepage, low pressure, oil light warnings, dirty oil bypass, and bearing or turbo wear. Ignore it, and minor leaks can turn into major engine repair.

Tech tips

Replace the O-ring at each service, lightly oil it, and tighten to factory torqueβ€”never over-tighten.
