Automatic Transmission Fluid Filler Cap for Honda
This small cap guards the ATF fill port, sealing the transmission against leaks and dirt. It keeps fluid where it belongs and contamination out, so shifts stay smooth and the gearbox runs cool. A healthy cap is a cheap shield for expensive transmission parts ️.
Why this part is needed
Without a tight seal, ATF can drip, oxidize faster, and pull in moisture. That leads to rough shifting, delayed engagement, and overheating. The cap also prevents dust and shop debris entering during service, protecting clutches, solenoids, and the valve body.
How it works
The cap locks onto the fill neck and compresses an O-ring to create a fluid-tight barrier. Heat‑resistant polymer and precise molding maintain seal integrity under vibration and temperature swings.
