Synchronizer Hub 1st–2nd for Mitsubishi M/T βš™οΈ

This hub sits between the 1st and 2nd gear synchros in your manual gearbox. It is vital for smooth, clean shifts. If your truck or SUV grinds going into 1st or 2nd, or pops out of gear, this is the heart of the fix.

Why this part is needed

Under daily use the hub splines and dog teeth wear. Replacing it restores bite between sleeve and gear, protects synchro rings, and brings back factory shift feel. It prevents extra heat and metal debris that can damage the whole transmission.

How it works

The hub is splined to the main shaft. A sliding sleeve moves over it. When you move the shifter, the sleeve travels on the hub, the synchro ring matches gear speed, then the sleeve’s teeth lock the chosen gear. Strong metallurgy and exact tooth profile keep shifts fast and quiet.

What happens if it fails ❗

Hard engagement, grind noise into 1st/2nd, shifter kickback, or gear jump-out. Left alone, it will chew synchro rings, wear the sleeve, and spread metal filings, leading to a costly rebuild.
