This drivetrain component is a key link between your clutch and the manual transmission. It is needed to transfer engine torque into the gearbox so the gears can multiply power and move the vehicle smoothly. Signs It’s Worn or Damaged ?
If this part is bent, worn, or has damaged splines, you may notice grinding when selecting gears, clutch chatter, vibration, hard shifting, or a whining noise that changes with clutch engagement. In severe cases the vehicle may stop moving even though the engine revs, because power can’t enter the gearbox correctly.
