Injector Nozzle Holder Clamp (Position 1) ?

This small but critical clamp locks the injector/nozzle holder firmly to the cylinder head. It keeps the injector seated at the right depth and angle, so fuel is delivered with correct spray pattern and stable combustion. Without a strong clamp, even a perfect injector can’t do its job properly.

Why this part is needed βœ…

High-pressure diesel injection creates vibration and pulsing force. The clamp counters that force, maintaining sealing pressure on the injector seat and helping prevent compression blow-by and fuel mist leaks around the base.

How it works βš™οΈ

When tightened to the correct torque, the clamp applies even holding load to the nozzle holder. This keeps the copper sealing washer and seat fully compressed, stabilizes injector alignment, and reduces movement that can wear the bore over time.

If the clamp is broken or weak ?

A damaged clamp may allow injector lift, causing hard starting, ticking sounds, loss of power, rough idle, smoke, fuel smell, and black β€œcarbon tracking” around the injector. Left unfixed, it can burn the injector seat, damage the head, and increase repair cost.
