Diesel Common‑Rail Injector for Toyota Fortuner/Hilux
This OEM‑grade fuel injector keeps your Toyota diesel running clean and strong. It restores quick starts, smooth idle, sharp throttle response, and low smoke. Ideal when power drops, economy worsens, or the engine gets noisy under load.
Why you need it
The injector meters and atomizes diesel precisely, so each cylinder gets the right dose at the right time. Good spray protects pistons and turbo, reduces emissions, and keeps the DPF healthy. Replacing a tired injector prevents diesel dilution of oil and costly engine wear.
How it works ⚙️
The ECU energizes a fast solenoid, lifting a needle to open micro‑nozzles. Fuel from the rail sprays in fine cones at very high pressure. Multiple short pulses per stroke shape combustion for quiet running and strong torque. Tight internal sealing controls return flow and pressure balance.
If it’s failing
Expect hard starts, rough idle, loss of power, black or white smoke, diesel smell, rising fuel use, and frequent DPF regens. Long‑term, it can wash cylinder walls, contaminate oil, crack the DPF, or even damage pistons. Always fit new sealing washers and code the injector to the ECU after installation.
