Engine Piston, Wrist Pin and Circlip Set for Hyundai/Kia ?

This complete piston kit restores factory compression, quiet operation, and reliable power. Built from heat-treated aluminum alloy with low-friction skirt coating and precision-machined ring lands, it’s balanced to OEM spec and ready for service. Ideal for overhauls, knock repair, or oil consumption fixes.

Why you need it

High mileage, overheating, detonation, or poor lubrication can wear skirts and ring grooves, letting combustion gases leak past the rings. Replacing the piston, wrist pin, and snap rings brings back tight sealing, stable idle, and fuel economy while stopping oil burning.

How it works ??

During combustion, pressure pushes the piston down the cylinder. A floating wrist pin links the piston to the connecting rod, and snap rings lock the pin in place. The compression rings seal the chamber; the oil ring controls oil film. The coated skirt reduces friction and carries heat into the block and cooling oil.

What happens if it’s damaged ⚠️

Expect low compression, hard starts, misfires, blue smoke, rising oil use, piston slap, and metal in the oil. A loose pin or failed circlip can score the bore and destroy the cylinder within minutes.

Tech notes βœ…

Measure and hone the bore, check clearances, set ring end gaps, lube the pin, orient the piston correctly, and verify both circlips are fully seated. Replace in matched sets for balance and longevity.
