Why this part is needed
Your engine needs a steady fuel pressure to start fast, idle smooth, and pull strong. This OE-spec module feeds the injectors with clean, pressurized gasoline, keeping mixture correct and emissions low. It restores quiet operation and reduces hard starts in hot or cold weather.
How it works
Mounted inside the tank, an electric turbine pump draws fuel through a fine strainer, then pushes it to the rail at about 3–4 bar. The ECU controls pump speed via relay/voltage to match demand. An internal relief and check valve stabilize pressure and hold fuel in the line for quick restarts. Sealed connectors and an O‑ring prevent vapor leaks and odors. ⚡
What happens if it’s bad
Weak or failed pumping causes long crank, stumble on acceleration, loss of power, misfire under load, or stalling on turns. You may hear whining from the tank, see low fuel pressure readings, or get a lean code. Continued driving can overheat injectors and catalyst and may leave you stranded.
