High-precision intake valve for Hyundai and Kia engines ?

This part controls the fresh air-fuel charge entering the cylinder. Without a tight-sealing intake valve, the engine cannot breathe correctly, losing power and efficiency. Fitting a correct-spec valve restores compression, smooth idle, and clean combustion, keeping fuel use and emissions in check.

How it works

The cam lobe lifts the valve via lifter/rocker, opening the port during the intake stroke. A strong spring snaps it shut, and the valve face seals against the seat. The stem slides inside the guide with oil control from a stem seal. Precise geometry keeps swirl and flow stable, protecting the catalytic converter and turbo (if fitted).

What happens if it’s worn or broken ⚠️

Symptoms: rough idle, misfire, low compression, backfire through intake, poor acceleration, hard start, glowing check engine, rising fuel use. A bent stem or chipped head can drop debris, damaging piston, cylinder head, and even destroying the engine. A burnt edge leaks compression and overheats the seat.

Technician tips βœ…

Use quality seat cutting or light lapping only; check runout. Measure stem-to-guide clearance; replace stem seals. Set valve lash (where adjustable). Torque cam caps, keep ports clean, and always use new gaskets. Best practice: replace in matched sets on affected cylinders.

Built to last

Heat-treated alloy, hardened face, correct stem finish for long guide lifeβ€”made to OEM flow and sealing specs for GDI/MPI Hyundai/Kia petrol engines.
