Gearbox Support Mount Assembly ️
This mount secures the transmission to the body/subframe and keeps the drivetrain aligned under load. It controls engine and gearbox movement during acceleration, braking, and shifting, reducing vibration and noise. Built from high-strength steel with a molded rubber insulator, it isolates NVH while holding the drivetrain at the correct angle for smooth power delivery.
Why you need it
A healthy mount prevents harsh vibrations in the cabin, protects CV joints and exhaust flex sections, and helps the shifter feel precise. It also keeps other mounts from overworking and failing early.
How it works
The bracket bolts to the transmission case and the chassis. The rubber bushing absorbs torque reactions and road shocks, allowing controlled movement but stopping metal-to-metal contact.
