Engine Oil Cooler Core for Nissan 4x4 and Truck ️

This OE-grade heat exchanger keeps engine oil at a safe working temperature under load, towing, and off‑road use. Stable oil temp = stable viscosity, strong oil pressure, and long life for crank bearings, camshafts, and turbochargers. It’s a direct-fit replacement for factory systems used on popular Nissan workhorses.

Why this part is needed ❄️

Modern engines run hot. Hard driving and slow trails raise oil temperature fast. The cooler core sheds excess heat into the engine coolant, preventing oil thinning, oxidation, and power loss. It protects during summer climbs and cold starts alike.

How it works ⚙️

Inside its compact housing sits a stacked-plate aluminum exchanger. Engine oil flows through fine internal passages while coolant runs counterflow outside the plates. The large surface area moves heat out efficiently, keeping oil within the ideal 90–115°C window.

What happens if it’s broken

Clogging or corrosion causes high oil temps, pressure drop, knock at hot idle, and rapid bearing wear. A cracked core can cross‑contaminate fluids: “milky” oil, oily coolant, overheating, and possible turbo failure. Leaks around the body or O‑rings leave spots and low oil level. Replace at the first signs of overheating, sludge, or fluid mixing.
