Engine Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly
This cooling fan unit is built to keep engine temperature stable when airflow is low, like in traffic, slow driving, or hot weather βοΈ. It supports the radiator by pulling or pushing air through the fins, helping the coolant drop heat fast and keeping the engine in its safe operating range.
Why This Part Is Needed
Modern engines make high heat, and the radiator needs strong airflow to remove it. When the vehicle is not moving fast enough, the fan becomes the main source of airflow ??. Without it, coolant temperature can rise quickly, especially with A/C running.
How It Works
The electric motor spins the blades at commanded speed. A temperature signal and control system switch the fan on/off (or vary speed) based on coolant heat and A/C demand βοΈ. Proper blade pitch and shroud design direct air evenly across the radiator surface for efficient cooling.
If the Fan Fails
A bad fan may cause overheating at idle, boiling coolant, weak A/C cooling, warning lights, or even engine damage ?. Continued driving can lead to warped cylinder head, blown gasket, and costly repairs. Replace promptly to protect the cooling system and engine.
