Why this part is needed ❄️
Without a rigid mount, the fan can wander, vibrate, and lose efficiency. This bracket maintains correct fan depth and angle, preventing shroud contact, hot spots, and temperature spikes in traffic. It also cuts noise and protects nearby components.
How it works ?
The bracket bolts to the radiator/core support using preset mounting points and rubber isolators. It locks the fan motor and shroud in the exact position the ECU expects, so when the fan runs, air is pulled evenly through the radiator and condenser. The isolators absorb vibration and stop resonance.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
Cracks or broken bosses cause fan wobble, scraping sounds, and intermittent overheating at idle. A sagging fan can strike the shroud or radiator, blowing fuses or damaging fins. Expect weak A/C at stops, coolant temp warnings, and faster wear of the fan motor due to misalignment.
