Rear Trailing Arm Rubber Bushing for Subaru Suspension

This OEM-grade rubber mount supports the rear trailing arm on Subaru models, keeping the wheel steady under load and over bumps. It filters road shock, holds alignment, and restores a quiet, stable ride. Install when the rear feels loose, knocks on acceleration/braking, or tires show edge wear.

Why this part is needed

The bushing controls rear toe and thrust angle. With fresh rubber, the arm pivots smoothly, so braking stays straight and cornering feels precise. It protects shocks, hubs, and chassis by absorbing harsh vibration.

How it works

Inside is a steel inner sleeve bonded to an outer shell with formulated elastomer. The rubber twists slightly as the arm moves, isolating noise while keeping the arm centered in its bracket. Correct durometer keeps geometry true under acceleration and cornering.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Expect clunks, rear steer, shimmy at highway speed, uneven tire wear, and alignment that will not hold. Driving on a torn bushing can stress CV joints, bend the arm, increase stopping distance, and fail inspection.

Tech notes ✅

Press-fit part; use proper drifts and lube. Torque bolts at ride height. Finish with a 4‑wheel alignment for best results.
