Rear Right Lateral Link Assembly

Why this part is needed

This suspension link holds the rear wheel steady on the right side, keeping toe and camber in spec. It controls side‑to‑side movement of the hub, so the car tracks straight, rides smoothly, and brakes predictably. A fresh arm with tight bushings restores steering feel, reduces tire wear, and protects other suspension parts.

How it works ️

The arm connects the rear knuckle to the subframe with pre‑pressed rubber bushings and an adjuster cam. As the wheel moves over bumps, the bushings flex to absorb vibration while the link keeps geometry locked in. Built from corrosion‑resistant steel for OE fit, it resists twist under load and holds alignment under acceleration, cornering, and braking.

What happens if it’s bad ⚠️

Worn or bent links cause clunks, rear steer, and wandering at speed. Alignment won’t hold, tires cup on the inner edge, stopping distances grow, and stability control may intervene early. In severe cases, the wheel can shift, damaging the knuckle or subframe.

Common symptoms ✅

  • Clunking/creaking over bumps
  • Uneven or rapid rear tire wear
  • Rear end feels loose in corners
  • Torn bushings or a visibly bent arm
  • Shop cannot set rear toe

Install notes

Direct bolt‑on for the right‑hand rear. Torque at ride height and perform a full four‑wheel alignment after installation.
