Why this part is needed
Every engine pulls in huge volumes of air. This filter traps particles before they enter the intake tract, so the combustion air stays clean and the airflow remains predictable.
How it works
Air passes through pleated media that captures dirt while maintaining flow. The sealing edge prevents unfiltered air from bypassing the element, helping the ECU keep air/fuel mix accurate.
If the filter is clogged or damaged
