    Why this part is needed

    How it works

    An electric motor draws air through an inlet, then pushes it via hoses to the exhaust ports or combi valves. The ECU commands it for a short window after start-up. Check valves stop hot exhaust from flowing back and damaging the unit.

    What happens if it fails ⚠️

    Common results: check engine light (P0410–P2445 range), rougher cold idle, sulfur smell, higher fuel use, and on some models, reduced power mode. Water ingress can seize bearings or blow the fuse/relay. Long term, catalysts may age faster and emissions tests can fail.
