Fuel delivery module with level sender for fuel tank β½
This complete in-tank unit feeds the engine with the right fuel pressure and reports fuel level on the cluster. It replaces the tired original assembly and restores smooth starts, clean acceleration, and accurate gauge reading. Built to OE spec, it is quiet, ethanol-resistant, and ready for plug-and-play install. OE ref: 1760A416.
Why this part is needed ?
Modern engines rely on steady pressure to keep injectors balanced. The integrated float sender talks to the gauge so you know how much fuel is left. One module does both jobs to save space and improve reliability.
How it works
A turbine pump pulls fuel through a strainer, then pushes it to the rail via the line and regulator. Inside the same housing, a float moves across a resistor track; the ECU/cluster reads this signal to display level.
What happens if it fails β οΈ
Hard starts, stalling on turns, weak power under load, noisy pump, or lean codes. A bad sender gives a jumping or false gauge, causing unexpected low-fuel situations. Prolonged low pressure can damage injectors and catalyst.
Install notes
Drop-in fit. Replace tank seal, clean lock ring, and fit a new strainer. Avoid running the tank near empty to keep the pump cooled.
