Why this part is needed

This molded intake hose links the air filter box to the throttle body or turbo inlet, guiding clean air into the engine. A proper seal prevents dust, water, and hot bay air from entering the system. With correct airflow, the ECU meters fuel accurately, giving smooth idle, strong pull, and good economy.

How it works ️

The hose channels air past the MAF sensor and into the intake tract under slight vacuum. Its reinforced rubber walls resist collapse during hard acceleration, while molded bends keep flow laminar and reduce turbulence. Factory-spec couplers and grooves ensure tight fit with clamps and sensors.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Tech notes ️
