Lower Radiator Outlet Hose for Toyota Land Cruiser Platforms

Keep engine temps steady with this molded lower outlet hose . It carries cooled coolant from the radiator’s bottom outlet to the water pump, completing the circulation loop. Designed to OE geometry for Toyota Land Cruiser platforms, it installs cleanly and seals tight for dependable cooling system performance.

Built from heat‑resistant EPDM with multi‑ply reinforcement, it holds shape under vacuum and pressure, resists oil/ozone, and follows factory routing without kinks for long service life.

Why this part is needed

Stable flow prevents hot spots, detonation, and premature wear. A tight seal reduces leaks, keeps coolant volume correct, and protects the head gasket, pump, and thermostat ️.

How it works

When the thermostat opens, the pump draws cooled antifreeze through this hose back into the block. The molded bends manage chassis movement and pulsation, while clamps lock ends to the radiator and pump necks .

What happens if it fails

Cracks, swelling, or soft spots lead to leaks, air pockets, and collapse at high RPM. Expect overheating, weak cabin heat, low coolant warnings, and possible engine damage ⚠️. Replace at first signs: bulges, abrasion, sweet coolant smell, or crusted residue.

Install tips

Replace clamps, clean necks, match routing, and bleed air after refill. Recheck level and hose tension after a full heat cycle ️.
