Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve for Toyota Engines βš™οΈ

This precision VVT-i cam timing controller keeps your Toyota engine smooth, torquey, and efficient. Why this part is needed

Accurate valve timing saves fuel, protects the timing chain, and maintains low emissions. A fresh unit prevents hesitation and rough idle, especially in city driving and hot climates.

How it works

The ECU sends a PWM signal to a solenoid. The plunger opens precise oil galleries, feeding pressurized oil into the cam sprocket actuator. An integrated strainer filters debris; O-ring and body seals keep pressure stable for fast, repeatable response.

When it’s failing ⚠️

Symptoms include rough idle, sluggish acceleration, higher fuel use, rattle on start, and codes like P0010–P0014. Prolonged use can stress the chain, cause cam/crank correlation faults, and harm the catalytic converter.

Heat-stable coil, corrosion-resistant housing, tight clearances. Install with fresh O-ring, clean the oil control port, use correct grade oil, clear codes, and perform an idle relearn if required.
