Engine Oil Filter – Clean Oil, Longer Engine Life ?️
This oil filtration unit is needed to keep engine oil free from metal dust, soot, and carbon sludge that naturally build up during driving. Clean oil protects bearings, camshafts, turbo parts (if fitted), and hydraulic lifters, helping the engine stay quiet and strong.
How It Works ⚙️
Oil is pushed by the oil pump through the filter media. The paper-like element traps harmful particles while allowing a steady oil flow back into the engine. A built-in anti-drain valve helps keep oil from running back when the engine is off, reducing dry starts. A bypass valve can open in extreme cold or clogging to prevent oil starvation.
What Happens If It’s Broken or Clogged ?
A damaged or blocked filter can cause low oil pressure, noisy valve train, faster wear, overheating oil, and even engine seizure. If the seal fails, oil leaks can lead to rapid oil loss and major engine damage.
