This intake duct is a key link between the front air entry and the air filter box/turbo inlet area. It is needed to guide clean, cool air into the engine with the correct direction and volume. A properly sealed duct helps the engine breathe smoothly, supports stable fuel mixture, and keeps dirt and hot under‑hood air away from the intake path.
How It Works
The duct forms a shaped airflow channel. While driving, it captures incoming air and feeds it to the air cleaner system with minimal turbulence. Its ribs and bends are designed to reduce restriction, prevent collapse under suction, and keep airflow consistent during acceleration and boost.
What Happens If It’s Damaged
