High-Pressure Fuel Injector Line No.2 ⛽️

This OE-quality steel tube connects the common-rail to injector No.2 on Mitsubishi diesel engines. Built with precision flares and hardened union nuts, it keeps ultra-high pressure stable during each injection event, ensuring clean burn, strong torque, and low smoke. The rigid wall resists vibration, heat, and pulsation, preventing pressure loss and micro-leaks.

Why this part is needed

Modern common-rail systems demand exact pressure delivery. A correct line keeps atomization fine, fuel economy steady, and starts quick in cold weather. It also protects the rail and injector from pressure spikes.

How it works

The tube channels metered fuel from the rail outlet to the second injector. Conical seats seal metal-to-metal; torque clamps the flare for a leak-free joint. Its shape controls harmonics to keep rail pressure consistent under load.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

  • Hard start, rough idle, power loss
  • Fuel smell, visible wetness around fittings
  • Ticking/whistle from high-pressure leak
  • Check engine light, increased smoke, possible fire risk

Install notes

Always fit a new line; do not bend or reuse. Cap ends until fitting, clean seats, and torque to spec on a cold engine. Reprime fuel system and check for leaks at idle and under load.
