Why your engine needs it
This precision poppet controls the fresh air‑fuel charge entering the combustion chamber. A tight seal and accurate timing give smooth idle, strong torque, better fuel economy, and cleaner emissions. Using an OEM‑grade intake valve restores factory performance and reliability.
How it works ️
The camshaft lifts the valve via bucket/lifter, opening the port so mixture flows in. The spring snaps it shut, and the hardened face seals against the seat. The stem runs in the guide for straight motion, with chrome or nitrided surfaces resisting wear and heat. It opens and closes thousands of times per minute, cooling through the seat and stem oil.
