This component is a key link between the crankshaft and camshafts. It is needed to keep valve timing accurate so your engine breathes correctly and delivers smooth power. On many Toyota performance and luxury engines, correct timing is everythingβone tooth off can change how the car runs.

The belt runs over toothed pulleys and turns the camshafts in perfect sync with the crankshaft. Its reinforced rubber construction grips the sprockets, keeping ignition and valve events aligned across the full RPM range. A properly tensioned belt reduces vibration, noise, and uneven idle.
