Engine Crankshaft Assembly ⚙️

This precision shaft is the heart of the engine’s bottom end. It is needed to convert piston up-and-down movement into smooth rotary power that drives the flywheel and, in turn, the transmission. Without a true, balanced shaft, the engine cannot deliver stable torque or maintain correct timing between moving parts.

How It Works ?

The main journals ride on engine bearings and spin inside the block while the rod journals connect to the connecting rods. As combustion pushes the pistons, the offset rod journals create rotation. Oil pressure forms a protective film to reduce heat and friction, helping the assembly stay quiet, efficient, and durable at high RPM.
