    Why you need it

    This pulley drives the accessory belt system and protects the crankshaft from torsional shock. It keeps alternator, A/C, and power steering running smoothly, reduces vibration, and prevents belt slip. On tough Toyota workhorses, a healthy damper means steady idle, clean charging, and quieter operation—mile after mile.

    How it works

    A precision hub locks to the crank nose, while a bonded rubber isolator separates the outer ring. Each combustion pulse twists the crank; the isolator absorbs that twist, stabilizing rotation and keeping the belt aligned. Correct mass and balance cancel harmful harmonics across the RPM range. Anti-corrosion finishing and tight concentricity ensure long service in hot, dusty, or wet conditions.
