Hydraulic Valve Lifter for Subaru Boxer Engines

This precision lifter (hydraulic tappet/lash adjuster) keeps your valve train quiet and accurate in Subaru flat-four motors. Why you need it ✅

How it works ️

Engine oil feeds a spring-loaded plunger and check valve inside the lifter. Oil pressure expands the plunger, taking up lash as the cam lobe rides over it. The result is constant contact and precise valve motion at all revs.

If it fails ⚠️

Expect ticking, rough idle, misfires, loss of power, increased fuel use, and possible AVCS timing issues. Long term, metal wear can damage cam lobes and valves. Replace in sets, pre-soak/bleed with clean oil, and use the correct viscosity.
