If the Valve Is Worn or Damaged ?
A bent stem, burned edge, or pitted face can cause low compression, misfires, hard starting, rough idle, and loss of power. In severe cases, the valve may not close fully, overheating the seat, increasing fuel consumption, and risking cylinder/head damage.
