Engine Piston Assembly w/ Wrist Pin

This OEM‑grade piston kit restores factory compression and smooth power in rugged Toyota engines. Lightweight aluminum alloy, coated skirt, and a full‑floating wrist pin deliver low friction, clean combustion, and long life under heat and load.

Why it’s needed

The piston seals the cylinder, drives the rod, and controls oil. Wear causes compression loss, poor fuel economy, and higher emissions. New parts bring back easy starts, strong mid‑range torque, and quiet operation.

How it works ️

Compression rings hold pressure; the oil ring scrapes excess oil. The gudgeon pin links piston to the connecting rod. The skirt guides motion while anti‑scuff coating reduces friction. Correct clearances let it expand with heat without seizing.

If it fails ⚠️

Expect low power, hard starts, blue smoke, knock under load, high oil use, and misfire. Cracked ring lands or a stuck pin can score the bore, overheat bearings, contaminate oil, or even seize the engine.

Tech notes ✅

Measure bore and piston grade, hone a proper cross‑hatch, set ring end gaps, orient marks to the front, lube the pin, replace circlips, and balance by weight. Always renew rings and clips as a matched set.
