How it works ⚙️
A wax‑pellet actuator senses coolant temperature. Cold: valve stays closed to bypass the radiator, heating the engine quickly. Hot: it opens progressively, sending coolant through the radiator. The calibrated opening temperature keeps the needle centered.
If it fails
