Connecting Rod Bearing Set ?οΈ
This small but critical engine bearing sits between the connecting rod and the crankshaft journal. Its job is to create a smooth, low-friction surface so the rod can spin freely while carrying heavy combustion loads. Without a healthy bearing, even a strong engine will not last long.
Why this part is needed
Every time the piston fires, the connecting rod slams force through the crank. The bearing supports that force, keeps correct oil clearance, and prevents metal-to-metal contact. It also helps maintain stable oil pressure and quiet running.
