Rear Engine Mount Insulator
This rubber-and-metal insulator sits at the rear side of the engine mounting system and is designed to isolate engine vibration from the chassis. Its job is simple: keep the engine steady under load while stopping harsh shaking from reaching the cabin .
Why this part is needed
Every time you accelerate, shift, or hit a bump, the engine tries to twist on its mounts. This insulator absorbs that movement, protects the mount bracket, and helps keep the drivetrain aligned.
How it works
The rubber core flexes to absorb vibration, while the bonded metal sleeves hold correct positioning. It allows controlled movement, so the engine can “float” slightly without knocking or stressing exhaust joints and driveline angles.
