    Why this part is needed

    The rear mount supports engine weight and holds the correct driveline angle. It stabilizes the transmission end, preserves shifter feel, and shields exhaust joints, hoses, and wiring from stress. Replacing a worn mount prevents vibration that can fatigue brackets and crossmembers over time.

    How it works

    This unit uses a bonded rubber-to-metal design with a tuned elastomer. The steel shell bolts to the subframe/bracket, while the rubber core flexes to damp torque pulses at idle and under load. After impacts, it recenters to stop metal-to-metal contact and keeps the engine aligned with the gearbox. 🛡️

    What happens if it’s broken

    Expect harsh vibration at idle, thumps on gear changes, engine tilt, and rattles on start/stop.
