Rear Engine Mount Insulator (Rear Position)
This rear mount insulator is a key support piece between the engine/gearbox unit and the vehicle frame. Its job is to hold the powertrain in the correct angle while absorbing vibration, engine pulses, and shock from road movement. When the rubber and inner core are healthy, the cabin stays quieter, shifting feels smoother, and driveline parts stay aligned.

Engines do not only spin—they rock under load. This insulator limits that movement so hoses, exhaust joints, and shafts are not forced to stretch or twist. It also helps protect brackets and mounts from cracking over time.
How it works ⚙️
A durable rubber compound bonded to a metal structure acts like a controlled cushion. It allows small movement to damp vibration, but resists large movement during acceleration, braking, and gear changes.
What happens if it’s worn or broken
- Heavy vibration at idle and when driving
