This oil filtration unit is a must-have service part that keeps your engine oil free from soot, metal dust, and sludge. Modern Mitsubishi diesel and petrol engines rely on clean oil to protect turbo bearings, timing components, and hydraulic lifters. When oil stays clean, the engine runs smoother, quieter, and lasts longer.
How It Works ⚙️
Oil is pushed through a fine filter media inside the canister. Dirt is trapped while clean oil flows back into the engine. A built-in bypass valve helps maintain oil flow during cold starts or if the media becomes restricted, preventing oil starvation.
Why Replacement Matters
If the filter is clogged or damaged, oil pressure can drop or the bypass may stay open, sending dirty oil through the engine.
