Engine Oil Filter – OE Quality Replacement ️

Keep your Mitsubishi engine safe from wear. This premium spin‑on unit screens debris, soot, and carbon to keep pressure stable and oil clean. Built to OEM spec; ref. 1230A154 for quick lookup.

Why you need it

Motor oil carries tiny metal and dust. The filter traps them, maintains correct pressure, cools components, and protects bearings, cam lobes, turbo, and hydraulic lifters. Clean oil also helps fuel economy.

How it works

Multi‑layer media (cellulose/synthetic) captures fine particles without choking flow. A silicone anti‑drainback valve holds oil in the housing for quiet starts. The bypass valve opens on cold starts or under high load to prevent starvation. A heavy steel can and molded gasket secure a leak‑free seal.

If it’s damaged or clogged ⚠️

Expect slow pressure build, lifter tapping, warning lamp, dark oil, loss of power, overheating turbo, and possible bearing scoring. A pinched or torn gasket can dump oil quicklyβ€”stop the engine immediately.

Service notes βœ…

Replace every 7–10k km or 6–12 months. Lightly oil the gasket, hand‑tighten 3/4 turn after contact (or 12–16 Nm with a cap wrench), and make sure the old gasket isn’t stuck to the housing.
