Premium Crankshaft Pulley / Harmonic Damper ⚙️
This front damper pulley keeps your engine smooth and your belts true. Built with a bonded steel–rubber design, it controls crankshaft twist and drives the alternator, water pump, A/C, and power steering. Correct diameter and offset secure factory belt speed and charging performance.
Why you need it
Without a healthy pulley, the belt system slips or wanders. That means weak battery charge, hot temps, noisy operation, and stressed bearings. A fresh unit protects the crank, cuts vibration, and stabilizes idle.
How it works
The inner hub locks to the crank. An elastomer ring absorbs torsional shock from each combustion event. The outer ring turns accessory belts while the damper neutralizes vibrations that can crack components over time.
What happens if it fails ⚠️
Signs include squeal, wobble, shaking at idle, belt dust, and oil-damp rubber. Severe failure can delaminate the ring, shift timing marks, throw belts, overheat the engine, drain the battery, cause heavy steering, or damage the crank keyway. Replace promptly to avoid collateral repairs.
