Engine Crankcase Breather Hose (Ventilation Line) ??
This ventilation hose is needed to route oily blow-by vapors from the engine crankcase back into the intake system. It helps the engine breathe correctly, keeps pressure under control, and supports clean, stable idling.
How It Works ⚙️
During combustion, a small amount of gas slips past the piston rings into the crankcase. This hose carries those vapors through the PCV/breather path so they can be burned again instead of venting to the atmosphere. The molded shape and tight seals prevent vacuum leaks while handling heat, oil mist, and vibration.
Why Replacing It Matters ✅
Aged rubber can harden, crack, or collapse. When that happens, the engine may pull unmetered air, causing rough idle, hesitation, increased oil smell, and higher oil consumption.
