    How it works

    Two half-shells sit in the main saddles and caps. Pressurized oil flows through grooves and holes, forming a hydrodynamic film that the crank rides on—metal never touches metal when clearances are right. A thrust pair controls end play. The crush fit locks each shell so it cannot spin.
