This OE-grade oil sump is built for tough SUV duty. It seals the bottom of the engine, stores the lubricant, and keeps the pickup tube covered with oil during acceleration, climbs, and rough trails. Why you need it
A healthy pan keeps oil inside the engine, away from dirt and stones. It supports correct oil level, stable pressure, and clean changes. Perfect when the old pan is rusted, dented, or the drain threads are stripped.
How it works
The sump collects returned oil and feeds the pump via the pickup. Internal baffles limit slosh so the pickup stays submerged. A flat machined lip and gasket form a tight seal to the block.
What happens if it’s damaged ⚠️
Oil leaks, burning smell, and spots under the truck. Low oil pressure light, lifter tick, and bearing wear may follow. A hard hit can crack the pan and cause sudden oil loss—stop engine at once.
