How it works
After lubrication, oil returns by gravity to the reservoir. The pump pickup sits just above the bottom, drawing oil through a screened inlet. Internal baffles and a formed windage area limit foaming and keep the pickup covered. The machined flange evenly compresses the gasket/RTV to prevent seepage.
