Upper Engine Oil Sump (Oil Pan) for Mitsubishi
This upper oil sump is a critical sealing and support part under the engine block. It holds and channels engine oil so the pump can pick it up and send it through bearings, cam surfaces, and turbo parts (if fitted) ??️. A healthy sump keeps oil pressure stable and helps reduce foaming during hard driving.
Why this part is needed
The upper section forms a tight oil cavity with the block and lower pan. It also provides mounting points and correct clearances for the oil pickup tube, so lubrication stays consistent in corners, hills, and towing.
How it works
