This hose assembly is a vital link in the crankcase ventilation system. It routes oily vapors and blow-by gases from the engine crankcase back into the intake path, helping the engine breathe cleanly and keeping pressure under control. A healthy ventilation line supports stable idle, smoother acceleration, and reduced sludge buildup inside the engine.

Heat, oil mist, and vibration slowly harden rubber and weaken molded joints. When the line can’t seal properly, the PCV circuit loses vacuum and the engine may start pulling unmetered air.
How it works ⚙️
The hose carries crankcase fumes to the PCV valve/intake. Under engine vacuum, vapors are drawn through the line, where they are burned during combustion instead of venting to the atmosphere. The molded shape prevents kinks and keeps correct flow even at high temperatures.
