PCV Breather Hose Assembly for Subaru Engines
This molded crankcase ventilation hose is a small part with a big job: it carries oily blow-by vapors from the engine crankcase to the PCV system so pressure stays controlled. When piston rings and heat create fumes, the hose provides a sealed path so the engine can “breathe” the right way. ✅
Why this hose is needed
Without a tight ventilation line, crankcase pressure rises and pushes oil mist into places it shouldn’t go. A correct-fit hose keeps emissions in check, supports smooth idle, and helps protect seals and gaskets.
How it works
The hose connects the crankcase breather/PCV ports and routes vapors to the intake side where they are burned in normal combustion. Its formed shape resists kinks, and the rubber compound handles oil vapor and engine heat. 🔧
