Why you need it
Bearings wear from mileage, dirty oil, overheating, or detonation. Fresh shells prevent scoring of the crank journals, stabilize oil pressure, and stop knock at cold start. They are essential after a rebuild, crank grind, or when oil pressure drops.
How it works

What happens if worn or broken
